Description:
- Integral member of a Data Link SubjectMatter-Expert (SME) Team supporting the planning and execution of Distributed Training Tactical Data Link Architectural Joint and Navy LOS/BLOS networks.
- Provide support in the production of Tactical Data Link Operations supporting documents. i.e. OPTASK Link (OTL), Cutsheets and Architectural Drawings.
- Manage RealTime Information Exchange Requirements (IERs) and possess ability to provide After Action assessments reports.
Experience Requirements:
- Technical management experience as a Naval Officer, Chief Petty Officer or FirstClass Petty Officer supervising combat systems configuration, operation, maintenance, and repair.
- Combat Systems Training Team (CSTT) experience.
- Completion of at least one fleet deployment and training cycle as a Track Data Coordinator (TDC) or Interface Control Officer (ICO).
- Recent configuration and operation experience for one or more of the following:
- Tactical Data Information Link (TDL) qualification or NEC, highly desired, or recent JT-XXX TDC training certification.
- Link Monitoring and Management Tool (LMMT) experience, desired but not required
- Member of Fleet Maritime Operations Center (MOC) Data Fusion Cell (DFC) staff desired but not required.
- Member of Carrier Strike Group Joint Interface Control Officer (JICO) Link Management Cell (LMC) staff, desired but not required.
- Experience in Line-of-Sight (LOS) and Beyond Line of Sight (BLOS) Joint and/or Navy network architecture planning and execution.
- Pose an understanding of Command and Control (C2) relations when executing fleet operations IER requirements.
- Network experience is desired but not required. i.e. Knowledge or experience in management of various data protocols, use of command prompt commands, experience with Wireshark, etc.
